its me, mini me

I went out just now and had an encounter of the not reading sign kind. I was walking past this satay thingy restaurant. A woman was standing outside the door, talking to herself.
woman:"eh kenapa this door inda mau buka" (please ignore my bad bad malay), eh eh, eh, eh.

She tried pulling the door, she tried turning the knob, she pushed it with her feet. I walked slowly along, wondering if i should open the door for her. For, hanging on the door, was a sign, about 30 cm long and emblazened with bold red letters, PUSH . I swear it was about 20 seconds before the woman finally noticed it. The patrons of the restaurant stared at her through the coloured glass walls while sipping their drinks and chewing meat off wooden skewers. Finally, with one exasperated push she opened the door. I was already a mile away.

Moral of this story: do read signs, especially signs on park benches, hot objects, wet floors and etc.

ps. This was not funny, rather mildly interesting

pps. Okay it was a bit funny but laugh I did not.

Was here,
Cody
