Today is a productive day =P Weather condition : Super fine, excellent day to fish. Mood : super excited 1st timer Bait : cody's peanut butter and bread chum with vanilla essence, bobo's juicy garden earthworms, eric's rotten prawn from fridge. Snacks : M&M's peanut chocolate, Tasty sticks, cody's chum. Underwear : HotFlamingRedLucky hush puppies. kidding.
The thrill when u see the floater bobbing, irregular movements in the water! feck its a fish! u pull ur rod only to find your bait gone and no fish =/ bloody small fishes playing pranks on us. I tried all types of bait and found out that worm = most effective fish magnet, cody's peanut butter chum only works for saltwater midget fishes, prawn = fish repellant but it attracted all the flies. I took cody's chum, made em into small snow balls and threw em at bobo and cody XD It smelled better than my perfume.honest. he added vanilla essence wah! Rightt, i know i should start from the beginning but heck, cannot tahan! IT WAS SUPER AWESOME OKAY! it was like OMFG I CAUGHT A FISH I CAUGHT A FISH!! i was the first to catch a fish la so u should understand how happy i was. fishing is no joke! especially when everyone catches a fish and u dont catch one. That happened to bobo only so he was concentrating really hard and he switched places countless times. He blamed everything! it's a curse, the rod, reel, bait, eric, cody, no fishing hat, my undies, the prawn, noise pollution coming from me =/
Casting a rod isnt easy, when u suck at aiming and all , instead of reaching for the water, u hit trees and other obstacles. Well it onlly happened to bobo and i so hell with tat. Patience is another thing, a person like me who gets irritated by the buzzing flies will go crazy and start singing 'PARAM PAM PAM' songs and start doing dumb things like using M&M's as bait, and when that doesnt work, we resort to throwing stones into the longkang and to see if there were any fishes.
Anyways, in the end of the day, i caught two giant tilapias and of em looks a bit like this. i think they weighed around 4 kilos! T.T
